A script for an imaginary TV show
A group of four friends went on a plane trip to skydive. While they were on the plane they passed through the Bermudas Triangle and the plane started having electronic failures. Everybody jumped out to save their lives while the plane crashed. While skydiving they saw a small island and they were able to reach it. When they landed on the island, they found a small civilization of lost travellers who lived in wooden constructions. Due to the island limited resources, not everybody was able to survive.
The story takes place in 2016; the cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Angelina Jolie and Tyrese Gibson.
With time running out and the resources coming to an end, will they be able to make it out?

Book review: Uglies
"In a world of extreme beauty, anyone normal is ugly”
Book: Uglies
Author: Scott Westerfeld (born May 5, 1963)
Publisher: Simon and Schuster
Published: In the USA in 2005
Edition: 2012
Relation of the image of the cover with the title and the subject:
In the cover of the book we can see a surgery knife and the word Uglies on top. The knife relates to the book because it talks about plastic surgery and beauty enhancements that everyone experiences at the age of sixteen.
Genre: science fiction, dystopian literature
Main Topic: fiction, adventure and love
Time and Place of Action: On a dystopian world, in the future.
Main Character : Tally Youngblood
Summary:
The book takes place in a new world were everyone is Ugly until turning sixteen, when they become Pretty through a surgery. It is the case of Tally Youngblood, a fifteen year old girl that is about to turn sixteen and can’t wait to get the surgery. She has a best friend, Shay, that unlike her doesn’t want to look perfect and pretty like everyone and runs away to the Smoke, a place where everyone that doesn’t want to do the surgery goes. Tally is confronted by Dr. Cable from Special Circumstances who blackmails her to find the hidden town, The Smoke, and if she doesn’t help she will never be a Pretty.
The book follows Tally throug a journey in finding Shay, her change of heart regardless the surgery and the transition of a selfish and insecure girl to a strong, independent and fearless women.
Personal Opinion:
In my opinion this is a very well written book, which allows us to travel to this imaginary place and live as if we were people living in that fictional world. I also think everyone should read this book because it makes us think about the high beauty standards that society has nowadays.
People are criticised by the way they dress and look, and young teens are feeling more and more worried about their appearance and have less self esteem because of what they see in magazines, which is not real, it is photoshopped.
Because of that, people want to look perfect so they make plastic surgeries or put on makeup to hide their imperfections.
It is a really good book and that’s why I think everyone should read it, because it makes us imagine of what our future can be .
